Sponsors OCP and Static Control Components gave very informative seminars with OCP’s Mark Pinner talking very informatively about the problems and solutions in inkjet remanufacturing, while Static Control’s Dieter Sears gave a very candid presentation on the future of monochrome in our industry.
In a first for a Remax IF Conference, delegates participated in a series of forum sessions to discuss issues impacting on the remanufacturing industry. Raising the industry profile with consumers was the “hottest” among several topics discussed by the forum groups. All the delegates participated actively, brainstorming and offering solutions to some of the issues facing the industry – marketing, training, quality and the need for a trade association. Some delegates even volunteered to take the lead in projects such as an industry marketing campaign.
