Cartridge World has announced its additional expansion plans for South America. The company has awarded the Master Franchise rights to Argentina, Uruguay and Paraquay to Diego Albanell.
Albanell has a wealth of knowledge and experience in logistics as well as commercial and financial operational strategies.
By the end of 2008 the company plans for two Cartridge World locations in Uruguay, three in Argentina and one in Paraguay. By the end of 2012, five stores are planned for Uruguay, more than 25 in Argentina and three locations in Paraguay.
“I believe Cartridge World will be a success in this region because consumers and businesses are willing to find an excellent quality ink and toner option at an affordable price,” said Albanell. “Our service will educate consumers on ways to save money and help the environment.”
“With 1,600 stores across 63 countries, it is clear that consumers and businesses have an appreciation for alternatives to expensive ink and toner cartridges,” said Burt Yarkin, CEO of Cartridge World. “Having grown to 700 stores in three years, the quick success of Cartridge World throughout the US proves that the company is ready to expand further into the South American markets. We’re thrilled to have Diego on our team.”
Cartridge World has expanded into the countries of India, China, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Caribbean. The company is also seeking Master Franchisees throughout South America and various countries in Asia and Europe.
