BBC reports on inkjets in UK

BBC Radio 4 broadcasted a special report on the UK‘s inkjet cartridge industry on the You & Yours consumer affairs programme, on BBC Radio 4 at 12:30pm on 31st December 2007. It looked at what is involved in the production of remanufactured and compatible inkjet cartridges, seeks to answer some of the questions consumers have about the cost of printing and includes an interview with Hewlett Packard.

BBC reporters visited DCI and interviewed John Studholme, and also spoke to Peter Mayhew from Lyra and Keith Moss of UKCRA. They also interviewed Lizzie Payne of Which, and Jim Watt – a consumer.

The BBC requested an interview with Epson, who provided a statement. HP’s Norman Richardson gave an interview.
