R-Jet Tek announced a new technical support partnership with OCP-USA in order to provide North American customers of OCP Ink superior ink and process support.

According to General Manger and Co-Owner of OCP, Horst Edelmeier, OCP-USA was established in Spring Hill, Tennessee, to meet the technical support and service needs of their large-scale cartridge-remanufacturing customers in North America.

OCP-USA’s Vice President, Werner Rüegger brings a wealth of remanufacturing and technical ink experience to the North American Market.  Werner, originally from Switzerland and an engineer, moved to the States in 1985 as an employee of Pelikan which became NuKote.  Werner also served as General Manager of Alphajet in Erie, PA, the US inkjet remanufacturing division of Alphastream of the UK.   Alpha-stream was one of the largest cartridge remanufacturers and users of OCP ink in Europe.

Werner has over 20 years experience in the inkjet imaging industry.  He recently spent time in Germany with OCP engineers at the OCP ink manufacturing lab in Lage and headquarters in Hattingen, Germany.

Ricardo Gomez, VP Sales at R-Jet Tek, explained that the creation of OCP-USA strengthens R-Jet’s ability sell and service ink.  “Our customers will benefit from R-JetTek’s close partnership with OCP-USA, because OCP’s technical support is now state-side”.  Gomez says, “Bringing someone like Werner Rüegger to OCP, is a new and very important evolution in OCP’s effort to provide excellent customer support and demonstrates their commitment to quality and value.”
