Recycler expands international team

Recycler has expanded its global footprint with new Regional Representatives around the world. The new staff will be reporting on news from their respective regions and will be representing the industry locally. As with all Recycler staff, each Regional Representative will be talking and, more importantly, listening to industry members so do get in touch via the contact details at the end of this article.

South Africa

Brett Lovell Greene represents Recycler in South Africa and is aiming to expand the audience in this region by increasing the subscription base for Recycler Magazine and the knowledge base of the remanufacturing industry in Southern Africa.

“I feel the time is right for Recycler to go into South Africa, the industry is going through a new and exciting phase there” Brett told Recycler.

Brett has previous experience of the industry from his time at Cartridge World in Cape Town as a Technical and Training Manager.

In his spare time Brett loves the outdoors and follows sports such as rugby and cricket, he is now based in Johannesburg.     

Brazil

Flavio Oliveira has joined Recycler as the Regional Representative for Brazil, he will report on the remanufacturing industry in that region. In October 2008 Flavio attended the ReBrasil Expo in Sao Paulo on behalf of Recycler Magazine and you can read his report on page 62. The Brazilian cartridge recycling industry is significant because it is among the 10 biggest in the world.

Flavio commented “I am excited about joining Recycler and I have always wanted to work in international communications”.

Flavio studied English in Bournemouth and has two degrees in Communication, one in Public Relations and the other in Publicity and Propaganda, having recently finished a post-graduate People Management course.

Flavio has a good understanding of the remanufacturing industry, from his time with Parai Group as International Trade Analyst and International Communication Assessor.   

Eastern Europe

Zoltan Matyas will represent Recycler in Eastern Europe, and will be working with the industry in the region to make sure they are provided with the information they need. Zoltan also aims to promote and raise awareness of the industry in Eastern Europe.
