With its announcement of enhanced co-op for management print services initiatives, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America is now supporting the BTA Print Management Workshop, developed and instructed by Strategy Development.
The results of a recent Business Technology Association (BTA) survey, asking dealers to cite the areas of greatest opportunity in 2009, reveal that dealers view managed print services (MPS) among the leading areas of expected growth in the New Year. “With the pressure most companies are experiencing today, they are looking for ways to streamline their internal processes and ultimately cut cost,” says BTA Executive Director Brent Hoskins. “MPS provides the vehicle for dealers to position themselves as consultants with a focus on helping solve end users’ document-related business issues.”
The BTA Print Management Workshop is offered in locations across the United States and is open to both non-members and BTA members. Association members do receive a tuition discount as do multiple participants from the same dealership. For information on upcoming workshops, visit the BTA Web site at www.bta.org. Click on Education & Certification on the home page.
In addition to supporting the use of accrued co-op funds for the BTA Print Management Workshop, Sharp is also allowing its dealers to use the accrued co-op to offset the consulting fees on an engagement with Strategy Development.
“We have been able to help many dealers across the U.S. launch print management initiatives, improve their equipment sales effectiveness and improve back office and service operations,” says Tom Callinan, managing principal of Strategy Development. “Our clients have experienced above average growth and improved operating income. We are excited that Sharp has selected Strategy Development to participate in their enhanced co-op program.”
