Sudhaus Inkjet declares insolvency

May 8, 2009

Sudhaus stated “For a fairly new company like Sudhaus Inkjet GmbH times have been tough.

Due to the overall economic situation which has caused a significant decrease in turnover Sudhaus Inkjet was forced to claim for insolvency procedures.”

“Sudhaus Inkjet will continue the business and serve their customers as usual until end of May, 2009. There are ongoing negotiations to restart the business with the existing Sudhaus product range and new developments from June, 2009, on.”

The company, based in Germany, was founded at the end of 2007 by a team of former employees of an established and reputed participant in the inkjet business. The Canon chip resetter for Canon CLI-8 and PGI-5 cartridges and specific ink for these cartridges were the first products developed within Sudhaus Inkjet.

In October 2008 Sudhaus took legal action against plagiarism of its chip resetter for the Canon CLI-8 and PGI-5 cartridges.
