New ISC board chairman and officers

The Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection (ISC), a non-profit association of imaging supplies OEMs, announced that it elected a new Chairman of the Board and three new officers at its annual members meeting held 23 June 2009. Mr. John McIntyre, sustainability manager, Samsung Electronics America, Inc. was named Chairman of the Board. He succeeds Mr. Yasushi “Dan” Kojima, manager of International Legal Affairs Division, Canon USA Inc.

 

Commenting on the election, Allen Westerfield, President of the Coalition said: “The Members and Board of Directors sincerely thank Mr. Kojima, as well as Randall Nelson, general manager, Supplies Brand Protection, Xerox Corporation, outgoing secretary, and Andrew Gardner, world wide brand protection manager, Lexmark Int. Inc., outgoing treasurer, for their proactive involvement and support of the ISC.  Our new Chairman, John McIntyre, brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the Chair and we look forward to continuing to build on our programs and initiatives under his leadership.”

 Andrew Gardner was named Chair-Elect. Lisa Boblenz, director, Consumables, Oki Data America was elected Treasurer.  Jeff Kwasny, manager of Anti-counterfeiting Programs, Hewlett-Packard was elected Secretary.  Westerfield went on to say: “Each of these officers has deep experience in the imaging supplies industry and are their companies’ leaders in developing intellectual property rights protection strategies.”
