Static Control opens office in Zhuhai

Static Control Components officially opened its first office in mainland China on 21 July 2009. Over 150 guests from the Chinese remanufacturing industry were invited to the official opening ceremony.
 
The ceremony was held at the Holiday Inn in Zhuhai. Guests included Yu Xuan, Secretary General of China Computer Industry Association (CCIA), Gong Binliang, Deputy Chairman of China Printer Consumables Association (CPCA), Zhang Huijun, Secretary General of CPCA, Chen Guangjun, Deputy Governor of Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai, Wu Sun, Chairman of Zhuhai Branch, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Tony Lee, Managing Director of Recycler Publishing & Events (China) Ltd.
 
In the ceremony Chen Guangjun joined Steve Weedon, Executive Vice President of Static Control Components, Inc. to unveil the name plaque of Zhuhai Static Control Trading Co., Ltd.
 
The Secretary General of CCIA Ms Yu Xuan said “Static Control, as a leader in the printer parts supplies industry, is expected to bring in more advanced technologies to the industry in China and help the sound development of the industry in China.”
 
Steve Weedon has high expectations for the Zhuhai office. He said “We recognize the importance of Zhuhai as the centre of laser and inkjet cartridge remanufacturing in China which is why without hesitation we choose Zhuhai as our first location. We are recognized worldwide for our ability to serve our customers, no matter where in the world they are located. No matter what the language spoken. We can get products to them quickly and efficiently and receive local currency in payment, now we can sell to our Chinese customers in RMB/Yuan. Static Control’s local staff here will take good care of our customers and we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with our Chinese customers.”
 
With the opening of its Zhuhai office, Static Control is now closer to the market so it can respond faster to the demands of the market and provide better service to its customers in the region. The founding of its first office in mainland China also lays sound foundations for further penetration into the China market.
