Hewlett-Packard is reportedly being sued by three former salespeople who allege that they were not paid thousands of dollars in commissions due to an error in HP’s order management system, Bloomberg.com reported.
A lawsuit was filed 7 August in San Francisco and claims that nearly 50,000 present and former salespeople haven’t received their commissions or bonuses because of issues with the software system, called Omega.
It was reported by Hewlett-Packard yesterday that the Omega glitch affected nearly 2,000 members of its global sales team of 23,000.
Shaun Simmons, along with two other former salespeople, all whom live in Colorado, filed the complaint and are hoping to represent all unpaid HP salespeople. Simmons alleges he is owed at least $30,000 in commissions.
