West Point Products are now accepting orders for AgriTone™ premium replacement toner cartridges, a series of remanufactured laser toner cartridges containing bio-based toner. The AgriTone line was recently launched at Recharger’s World Expo in Las Vegas. AgriTone cartridges are powered by BioBlack, a bio-based toner with patent-pending protection, which boasts the imaging industry’s highest concentration of bio-content according to independent third-party testing.
“The response to the AgriTone announcement in August has been very positive,” stated Tom Day, West Point Products CEO, “We’re excited to be able to accept orders on these cartridges. It marks the end of a long development process, and we are extremely proud of the work our people have done in developing and testing the AgriTone line of cartridges. An integral part of our 5 pillars of success, our commitment to quality has certainly carried over to this unique product offering.”
The launch of AgriTone garnered a good deal of interest for West Point Products at Recharger’s World Expo. Support for the launch of AgriTone was provided not only by West Point Products staff members, but also by AIR, the manufacturer of bio-based resin used in the BioBlack toner. The Ohio Soybean Council also had representatives present.
“At West Point Products, our actions are always governed by our 5 pillars of success: quality, service, selection, integrity, and people,” added Joe Lucot, West Point Products President/COO, “The decision to develop AgriTone cartridges was an easy one, since it supports so many of those guiding principles. AgriTone is a high quality product that fits well with our traditional product lines, and supports our commitment to offering selection.”
AgriTone premium replacement cartridges contain BioBlack toner. The resin used in the BioBlack toner, known as BioRez, contains 60+ percent bio-content, while BioBlack in toner form contains 35+ percent bio-content. More information about this third-party testing can be found at www.bioblacktoner.com.
AgriTone premium replacement cartridges have been developed and are manufactured in West Point Products’ ISO 9001 registered facility in Valley Grove, West Virginia, and are thoroughly tested for quality using ASTM testing methods. The cartridges are fully backed by West Point Products’ comprehensive warranty, ensuring customer satisfaction and guaranteeing the quality that dealers and users have come to expect from West Point Products. Shipping was expected to commence on the products in the last week of September.
“We have worked hard to be first to market with a cartridge that contains such a high concentration of bio-content in the toner,” added Lucot, “More important, though, has been our constant focus on being the best to market. We are confident in our leadership position not only in terms of bio-content, but also in terms of product quality.”
AgriTone’s initial release includes replacement cartridges for a number of the most popular HP workgroup printers, including the HP LaserJet 4200 series, HP LaserJet 4300 series, HP LaserJet 4345mfp, and the HP LaserJet 4250/4350 series. Subsequent releases will expand the product line to include other popular small-workgroup printers by leading manufacturers. All of these products are currently available for sale to West Point Products dealers and resellers. West Point Products does not sell direct to end-users, but can work through its network of dealers across North America to support end-users interested in AgriTone.
