Feb 5, 2010

Clover Technologies Group Inc., has announced the opening of its newest subsidiary company, Clover Technologies Group Australia Pty. Limited (ABN 135 917 725).

Operating out of a new 30,000 sq ft. (2787m²) facility in Melbourne, Clover Australia will provide customers in Australia and New Zealand with Product Distribution, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Support and Empties Collections Services. Peter Costa, former General Manager of Australian Toner Cartridge Imaging Supplies, will lead Clover Australia’s team of 20+ associates in the capacity of Managing Director. Costa has over 18 years of management experience in the imaging supplies industry and was a founding member of Australian Cartridge Remanufacturers Association (ACRA).

Clover Australia will offer its customers the broadest assortment of remanufactured and compatible imaging supplies in the industry, many of which will be available for same day or next day delivery. “Australia and New Zealand and the other Oceania countries and territories are exciting new markets for Clover. The opening of this facility will enable us to expand our global presence and better serve our local dealers whose businesses operate here, as well as our multi-national customers who are similarly seeking to grow and expand their businesses globally,” stated Bill Barclay, EVP and Managing Director, Clover Asia Pacific.

Clover Australia represents another key milestone in Clover’s global expansion. Four years ago, Clover established a major factory operation in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. This factory, which is both ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 certified, now employs over 600 manufacturing associates and serves an integral role in Clover’s global operations. Clover similarly established Clover Technologies Group Asia Pacific Pty. Ltd in Singapore four years ago to provide Distribution, Sales, Marketing and Technical Support to its customers throughout Southeast Asia including: Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and China.
