HP Canada appoints new CEO

Galanis will be responsible for all aspects of HP operations in Canada, as well as business development initiatives, such as alliances and partnerships.

He used to be director of global accounts for HP’s manufacturing and distribution industries business in the central region. Here, he was responsible for building HP’s presence in these industries, as well as developing strong client relationships and sales teams.

Galanis has over 18 years of experience in IT. He joined HP in 2006, after working in various sales, channel and marketing positions at EMC, Xerox and Sun Microsystems.

Tsaparis, who has been at the OEM since 1998, becomes vice-president of technology support for HP’s Americas region enterprise business. He will be responsible for driving growth of HP’s technology support offerings.
