Xerox Emirates (XEM) has teamed up with major UAE-based IT company New Technology Systems (NTS) to increase its managed print services (MPS) in the UAE.
According to the OEM, this is seen as its efforts to enter the indirect channel marketing model, which is going to be XEM’s core focus for 2010.
As part of the agreement NTS will offer a comprehensive range of Xerox products and MPS to meet the customized requirements of different customers.
XEM says the new agreement strengthens its channel strategy in emerging countries, collaborating with partners and distributors to deliver products and services to customers across the Middle East & African region.
Enabled by offices in UAE, Qatar and a network of resellers, NTS is well positioned to expand XEM’s presence throughout the country, says the OEM.
NTS is a major system integrator and currently has IT contracts with large UAE based organizations like Emirates Airlines, Etisalat, Siemens and Fujitsu.
“Our strategic alliance with NTS will help us expand our market reach in the UAE thereby offering our customers the wide range of products and solutions offered by Xerox”, said General Manager for Xerox Emirates Andrew Hurt.
“We have been rapidly expanding our presence in the region. Our partnership with Xerox Emirates will help us offer our customers state of the art Xerox products as well as solutions from the managed print services,” said Shivkumar Gopal, NTS Group’s Director.
