The patent dispute concerned the HP 02 inkjet cartridge. As a result of the agreement, Print-Rite will cease the production and sale of all products relating to the patent in the US and other countries having corresponding parent filings.
“We are pleased with this amicable settlement, which serves as a demonstration of our ongoing commitment to protecting HP’s investments in intellectual property,” said Stephen Nigro, Senior Vice President of HP’s Inkjet and Web Service Business.
HP has not announced whether it is also seeking financial remuneration.
