APS Group chooses Xerox for digital print expansion

Apr 20, 2010

Print management services provider APS has invested in Xerox monochrome and colour digital production devices to help deliver more advanced print solutions.

APS has bought three Xerox Nuvera 144 MX Digital Production Systems, a Xerox 4112 Enterprise Printing System and a Xerox DocuColor 5000 Digital Press. They will accompany two existing Xerox iGen3 Digital Production Presses.

The new kit will provide APS with greater capacity to handle new print jobs and will equip the business with the right technology to develop new markets such as transactional printing.

The British provider and manufacturer of print managed services will now be able to take on long-run lithographic jobs or fast-turnaround short runs. It will also be able to print personalised digital colour and black & white documents.

APS Deputy Managing Director Rick Snelson said: “Having worked with Xerox in the past, we are aware of its leadership in the digital print market and the importance it places on innovation in technical development. Machines, such as the Nuvera 144, not only give us the capacity to take on new business but they also have a future-proofed platform to offer our customers new capabilities.”

Peter Taylor, Director and General Manager of Large Enterprise and Graphic Communications at Xerox UK, added: “We are building on our existing relationship with APS Group and continue to support them as their business grows and expands. With a range of state-of-the-art Xerox digital print technology at APS’s fingertips, it is fully equipped for the push into new markets.”
