Apr 22, 2010

The management board of Van Klaveren CCC, a European collector of empty cartridges and old mobile phones, has expanded. On 1 April 2010, Gerhard van Klaveren, General Manager, appointed Lennart Zernitz and Arjan Oonk board members.

Lennart Zernitz has been appointed Commercial Manager. He will be responsible for commercial and operational affairs. Lennart has been working at Van Klaveren for more than 10 years now, fulfilling various purchasing and sales positions. As such, he has an extensive knowledge of the company and the market.

Arjan Oonk has been working at Van Klaveren since 2000. He started out in the accounts department and ultimately found himself keeping all of the accounts. From 2006, Arjan worked as a controller and currently fulfils the position of Financial Manager.

Gerhard van Klaveren, General Manager, said: “The growth of Van Klaveren has generated a strong demand for continued professionalisation at our company. Together with Lennart Zernitz, Commercial Manager, and Arjan Oonk, Financial Manager, I want to add more structure to the organisation.

“This should in the short term lead to an ISO certificate, continued growth abroad and cost-saving activities. We have made the first step by moving into our new premises at Bremenweg 25-27 in Deventer, where we have more opportunities of realising that growth.”
