Lexmark promotes its Cartridge Collection Programme with YouTube video

Apr 23, 2010

Lexmark has put up a video on its YouTube site showing consumers how easy it easy to return their empties to the OEM.

Jason Kelly from Lexmark International presents the two-minute clip and explains that sending empties back to Lexmark can reduce the carbon footprint of that cartridge by nearly 60 percent.

He says that the returned cartridges are remanufactured or put through a materials recycling process.

For ink cartridges, the user needs to order a bag from the Lexmark website, place the empty cartridge in the small bag and put it in the post.

For toner cartridges, a pre-paid postage label is included in the box that the cartridge comes in. Repackage it in the box with the label and send it back by post.
