The awards involve a self-entry process, where companies are rated by an independent panel of experts on a wide range of variables encompassing aspects such as overall business performance and efficiency, stakeholder considerations and future performance.
StinkyInk entered hopeful of a strong performance, with a 70% increase in sales for 2009, which has been maintained through to 2010, being a great starting point. The increased business has lead to a near doubling of the workforce, expansion of automated systems and continuous on-site training. StinkyInk has also managed to increase its operational efficiency in line with sales, meaning the continuing growth being experienced can easily be obtained with the present facilities. All of this has occurred whilst keeping an active interest in the local community, involving numerous great causes such as fully funding a series of concerts for Alveley Church and sponsorship of Alveley’s Youth cricket team and Shropshire’s Air Ambulance.
StinkyInk also drew attention to their business aims for 2010, with a continuing focus on the company ethos of 100% satisfaction for all business levels at the forefront. With continuing design tweaks on the website to aid the customer’s experience, improvements in delivery procedures and investment into customer services, the aim is for more of the quality service the business is built on.
The winners of the Shropshire Business Awards will be announced on 4 June. Click here for more information on the awards, while StinkyInk’s website can be found here.
