Samsung Electronics UK has appointed Graham Long as the new Vice President of IT, UK and Ireland.
This follows a recent move by Samsung to bring together its IT business, which now includes display, note PC and print divisions.
Long will work across all of Samsung’s IT business areas and will be responsible for sales in addition to developing integrated marketing, investment and bundling opportunities for Display, Note PC and Print.
He moves from the role of Vice President of European Printing Operations. Long has been at Samsung since 2008 when he started as European Printing Business Director for Samsung’s European Printer Marketing Group.
Prior to Samsung, he worked for HP since 1999 where he was Enterprise Business Director for the company’s Imaging and Printing Group. While running the enterprise team, Long drove significant business success for HP, securing multiple managed print service contracts with several major companies.
