The awards were held at the MPS 2010 North American Conference that took place in Texas, US, at the start of May.

Companies were judged in five categories using a balanced score sheet divided between core criteria, MPS best practices, and business benefits. The awards saw a high level of competition, with 53 companies from 12 different countries entering.
