The range includes two single format inkjet printers, three all-in-ones, two laser printers, six projectors, one scanner and one laser multi-function device.
Each of the new printers come with wi-fi installed, which the OEM says is “in response to the increasing demand for wi-fi platforms” in India.
It added: “With laptops growing at a high rate and wi-fi now becoming the default feature the overall Indian wi-fi market is predicted to grow at over 60 percent and wi-fi printers will form a major share of the market for wi-fi products.”
Canon says it has seen a change in Indian homes where more than one person is now connecting for printing and “people also want to be mobile within homes”. To cater this Canon is expanding its wi-fi inkjet all-in-one range, which also includes the auto duplex feature.
