MPSA votes in new board member

Jun 18, 2010

MPSA members and current board members took part in the vote, with 11 candidates competing for the position. Around 10 percent of MPSA’s membership took part in the vote.

Kosters said: “I am very honored to have been chosen as the new board member for the MPSA. I want to thank the members of the MPSA community for their vote and confidence in me.

“It is fantastic to see how fast the MPSA community has grown. The MPSA was established last year and there was just one candidate for the position of independent consultant, Ed Crowley from Photizo.

“This year, a whopping 12 candidates competed for a position in the MPSA board. Therefore I truly hope that they will – although they did not get the position – continue to improve the managed print services business.”

As well as his voluntary position as board member, Kosters is the Managing Director of Dutch document management company DOCplus.

As reported by the Recycler, the MPSA recently celebrated passing the 3,000 member mark for its LinkedIn social networking group, which has been an important part of the organization’s formation.
