Aimed at small to medium enterprises (SMEs), the AcuLaser CX16 series replaces the AcuLaser CX11 series, which Epson believes strengthens its colour laser line-up.
It boasts a first page out at 14 seconds for monochrome and 23 seconds for colour, and a duty cycle of up to 35,000 pages per month. This, the OEM says, offers SMEs “efficiency and reliability”.
Printing at a resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi, the AcuLaser CX16 series uses Epson AcuBrite toner. High capacity cartridges along with ENERGY STAR-qualified power efficiency ensure that running costs are kept low, explained Epson.
The new series is compact and easy to set up, according to the printer manufacturer. It also has a high speed USB 2.0 and a small footprint “to fit into any business environment”.
A front access feature makes it easy to change or replace paper and toner cartridges, and the 200-sheet multipurpose tray offers media flexibility, claims Epson.
General Manager at Epson Middle East Khalil El Dalu said: “Small and medium businesses in the region can benefit immensely from the speed, reliability and cost efficiency of the AcuLaser CX16 series. With high performance printing at a low cost per page, this device is one of the best value solutions available on the market today.”
