HP says cloud printing is a game changer

He says the new printers are a “game changer” because there will be a “billion web-connected devices”. He explained: “It is a game changer for two reasons. There will be a billion web-connected devices. The ability to take that content and print that anywhere and anytime is game changing. A lot of interesting innovation will happen around this architecture. In the past 26 years – the ink jet and laser jet — we were connected to the PC. Unleashing that and connecting to the web where a lot of innovation is going on and having that open architecture is game-changing.”
