The company was created in 2007 with the combined resources of the two companies, and is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, the former HQ of IBM’s Printing Systems Division.
InfoPrint provides a broad array of business solutions, including print-on-demand and document and data management, and printing hardware ranging from MFPs to industrial and production machines.

Daisuke Segawa, President and Chief Executive Officer of InfoPrint Solutions, said: “When we embarked on the joint venture in June of 2007 we looked with great anticipation toward this day. And just as we started a new journey three years ago, we are starting another today.”
Ownership had been gradually transferring from IBM to Ricoh from the start of the joint venture, and fully concluded on 30 July. The venture was the latest in more than 20 years of collaborations between the two companies.
