He will be responsible for building the US MPS sales organization and expanding the company’s Total Managed Print business. OKI says Brien will focus on channel and customer-specific MPS sales targets.
Total Managed Print is designed to help OKI’s channel partners provide businesses with a variety of ways to reduce costs associated with printing.
Brien has 15 years of industry experience, says OKI. Before this position, he was the Vice President of Global OEM programmes at PrintFleet since 2003. He was responsible for building a sales team and creating back-end procedures for the company’s go-to-market MPS strategy in the BTA dealer and VAR channels.
Prior to PrintFleet, Brien was an Account Executive at Ricoh Canada, where he built custom infrastructure solutions while dramatically increasing Ricoh’s customer base.
Vice President of US Sales at OKI Data Americas, Greg Van Acker, said: “MPS continues to be a strong area of focus for us and the addition of Tim Brien aligns with our growth strategy. We look forward to incorporating his ideas and experience into our MPS infrastructure to strengthen and reinforce our commitment to the market.”
Brien added: “At a time when MPS is at the forefront of expansion, I am pleased to expand upon my experience by joining one of the leading print manufacturers who provides a comprehensive MPS offering.”
