The Priport DX 3343 has been manufactured for high-speed and low-cost printing, and incorporating a new print controller with network connectivity.
The new machine outputs prints at 130 pages per minute, costing one third of a cent per print, according to Ricoh.
It can also print on a wide variety of papers, such as construction paper and heavy card stock. The Priport DX 3343 also boasts a large 11 x 17-inch scanning area, which Ricoh says is suitable for scanning text books.
The OEM also claims that the duplicator “helps customers maintain environmentally sound printing practices”. Ricoh says the Priport DX 3343 features a heat-free imaging process, Instant Start Up Technology “requiring no warm-up time” and an Automatic Shut-Off function that powers down the unit after a user-defined period of inactivity.
Director of Product Marketing Michael Hunter said: “Institutions within the education, church and government industries often run busy production environments that produce a high volume of print materials.
“With the launch of the Priport DX 3343, Ricoh addresses the need for a high-speed, high-volume printer that produces quality output while adding cost-saving value to a customer’s entire fleet.”
