Rick Greenlaw, Vice President of PRC, said that the company had secured dealers from British Columbia in Western Canada all the way to the Maritimes in the East.
“Canada, Australia and Europe are moving forward very quickly in the “greening” of printing,” he said.
SoyPrint is a bio toner that uses oil from soy crops in place of the petroleum-based oil toners normally use. The toner is produced with American crops, with the cartridges being produced by licensees around the world.
It currently covers 30 different HP models, and Greenlaw says the company will double that number by Christmas.
As reported by The Recycler, a second generation is also being worked on that has been certified as 100 percent biological content, which PRC says is the highest in the industry.
The new network in Canada is part of SoyPrint’s continued global expansion, with recent deals secured in Asia and South America.
See the August issue of The Recycler magazine for an in-depth look at SoyPrint as well as Rick Greenlaw’s views on the health of the American remanufacturing industry.
