The firm says that this will “help support the company’s growth in the North American market”.

Owen, based in Ontario, will be Static Control’s first Canadian-based sales agent. He had been at Future Graphics Canadian sales for 10 years, and managed their sales for seven years.

Orozco, who had been with UniNet for six years, has joined the Static Control West Coast sales office, which is being relocated to a larger facility to handle growth. Orozco is fluent in English and Spanish.

Static Control’s Vice President of Sales Erwin Pijpers said: “We are very ambitious about our plans to increase our customer service levels and our market share in North America. We are investing in people and physical resources to provide our customers the best service and support in the industry.”

Owen added: “I know remanufacturers in Canada have fantastic opportunities to grow their business. No company in the industry is better prepared to support them than Static Control, and I’m thrilled to be part of this team.”

Orozco said: “I’m very excited to join Static Control during this time of expansion in our West Coast Sales office. I’m eager to grow our market and serve our customers. Static Control is the kind of company that makes those goals possible.”
