NAND begins commercial supply of first chemical colour toner

Oct 7, 2010

The nanotech specialist’s first ever toner range will span the CYMK range and will cover some of the most popular printers and copiers.

The toner was created in a state of the art new 40,000 square foot facility that opened in Northern India earlier in the year, and NAND says it is designed to match OEM performance.

Sanjeev Mahajan, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said: “Our first products comprise a line of advanced chemical colour toners used in the latest colour laser printers.

“To establish a competitive cost structure, we built a commercial, export-oriented unit associated with our plant in Himachal Pradesh. We are keenly interested in forming partnerships with professional companies engaged in the sale and distribution of aftermarket components and consumables for OEM laser printers and copiers.”

CEO Dr Abhinava Srivastava added: “NAND ipl’s BESTONE chemical colour toners for the market leading brands of laser colour printers and copiers family is our first, fully-developed offering.

“The proprietary technology that we use allows aggregation of millions of nano-sized particles to produce these high resolution, colour toners with a desirable structure to achieve the best print results.

“Hence the performance of BESTONE toners will always be equivalent to OEM quality in terms of colour brilliance, consistency and image density. We are also capable of customizing our products to meet the needs of our customers and markets.”

Mahajan said the company is currently forming distribution partnerships in major territories so that the BESTONE range can reach customers through familiar companies in the industry.
