Sensient opens fifth China facility

The facility is designed to enhance the corporation’s capability to produce food and beverage flavours and colours as well as fragrances and pharmaceutical coatings.

The new facility includes an office and laboratory building and production areas for both food and non-food products, according to Sensient.

The firm added that the new location contains laboratories for research, application development and quality control.

Chairman and CEO at Sensient Kenneth Manning said: “This manufacturing facility is a key part of our global strategy and it strengthens Sensient’s presence in China.

“The Guangzhou location positions Sensient for growth in one of the most dynamic economies in the world. It greatly increases our production capabilities with state-of-the-art equipment and new processing technologies.”

Around the world, Sensient has over 70 locations that provide specialized flavour and colour applications in 30 countries, selling to more than 150 nations.
