KMP shareholders now own 100 percent of Intercopy, with this holding consisting of Parts Depot GmbH in Germany, Copymix s.a.r.l. in France and Portugal, and manufacturing company Tekloq s.a.r.l. in Creutzwald, France.
Intercopy sells consumables for copiers and multifunctional printers. KMP says that due to this strategic merger, it now has an unique product line in Europe.
It now comprises printer solutions for laser, inkjet, thermal transfer and matrix printers as well as for professional multifunctional printers.
KMP CEO Jan-Michael Sieg considers the wide range of KMP printer accessories and consumables to be an important competitive advantage. This now ranges from compatible cartridges for home-office inkjet printers to professional business solutions.
KMP is now able to supply customers in France and Portugal through the Copymix logistics centre new Paris. It adds that the turnover of the new company is now approximately €80 million.
