Cartridge interest is seasonal

Internet-ink.co.uk used a beta of Google Insights to discover that the number of searches relating to ink cartridges experienced a severe drop in December as Christmas approached.

Search figures then hit their highest point for the year in January, before decreasing steadily into summer and stabilizing. Toner searches follow a similar trend.

The shift in interest is easily seen in the graph created by Google Insights.

Google Insights is a free service allowing users to easily view search interest for any term or topic, as well as dividing up results by region and time period.
