Image1 moves to new facility

Dec 3, 2010

The new facility is nearly double the size of Image1’s previous facility and will house the company’s parts business and an expanded refurbished printer area. The company says that this increased physical space will allow it to continue to expand its production range of OEM and refurbished parts, as well as expand its line of refurbished printers.

Image1 says it has seen an upswing in demand for refurbished printers among service providers entering the MPS space.

“This new, larger facility will be very beneficial to Image1 and to our customers as we continue to grow,” commented Jim Loden, Image1 President. “With the increase in demand for our products brought on by the maturation of the MPS industry, it became evident that an expansion of our facilities was necessary.

“This space will allow us not only to meet the demands of our customers today, but long into the future as we continue to support their needs with the quality and price points they have come to expect from Image1.”

The facility, based in Plano, Texas will be Image1’s international headquarters and main manufacturing site. The company has offices and distribution points positioned across the United States.
