West Point Products expands Texas distribution centre

The new facility will be located in Plano, Texas and will allow the company to meet increased customer demand in the south-central United States.

The provider of replacement imaging supplies has said that the increased space will accommodate the company’s expanded product range, and the change in location will allow next day shipping to an larger geographical area.

Image1, which is owned by the same company as West Point, has also expanded a facility in Plano, Texas this month.

Joe Lucot, Executive Vice President of Operations at WPP, said: “We believe that this expansion to Plano will be very beneficial to our customers not only today, but tomorrow as well.”

The new facility, located in the Dallas Fort Worth area, is significantly larger than West Point Products’ previous Texas based facility and offers better distribution coverage.

West Point Products is having a busy year after being acquired by private equity firm, Golden Gate, in April.
