The changes will also, the company says, help to deliver better service and results to clients, with increased quality of products and solutions.
A new Quality, Technology and Research (QTR) department is being created in-house, with Ron van Herreveld joining as Director of QTR. Staff and operations will remain unchanged for the moment, but the company say will be expanded in the near future.
“We want to develop a culture where the clients’ needs and development are in focus”, said CEO Emery van Donzel. “We are very excited about improving the organization, and along with these changes we are of the opinion we also should change our business name into Goat Labs,” he commented.
Van Donzel added: “To establish our step to the next level, we have chosen to change the public name of our company to reflect the increasing role of our Quality, Technology and Research department. Customers should expect improvements on quality of product development as well as the speed of introductions, improved service levels and support.”
“Whilst the previous name has served us very well in the past years, we believe that this change will serve us even better for the future.”
Along with the name change, Goat Labs B.V. has adopted a new logo, and the changes are effective from January 1, 2011. All future business activities will be undertaken with the new name.
