Arizona Cartridge World celebrates four years in business

Aug 22, 2011

Today Publications spoke to owner and manager Yvonne Jenkins after the store’s four year anniversary at the beginning of August.

Jenkins discussed the range of cartridges the store sells, and how that has allowed businesses in the area to save a lot of money through using refilled or remanufactured cartridges.

She added however that many people were not aware that the stores also sells new products, and believes that this is a problem with her own store’s advertising, as it might improve business to notify customers of this.

Jenkins spoke to the town’s local Chambers of Commerce about the business’s growth and success, adding that the company is looking towards social media to improve its sales and customer presence. She stated that it already has a Facebook account as well as a LinkedIn page, and is reaching out towards other small businesses in the community to work together.

She stated to the newspaper: “We’re not the perfect business and probably never will be, but we’ve learned and grown from our mistakes. We didn’t have a business plan [at first[because we thought we had living, breathing help for whatever we were doing.

“We’ve [now] been in business long enough to not rely on that. Even if you’re not a customer of ours, there’s no reason we can’t work together.

She added: “We are in the era of click-and-go, but sometimes the parts aren’t designed to last as long or the cartridges are not filled all the way. “We ask people to buy local, so we do our best to price match to give them a reason to do that.

“We are often cheaper than Office Max, Corporate Express or Staples.”
