Oracle accuses HP of fraud

Sep 5, 2011

Oracle has accused HP of fraud for keeping it in the dark during negotiations, reports ITVoir.

HP has sued Oracle after the latter dropped support for HP’s Itanium servers, stating that the servers had no future and a belief that Oracle was also suspicious that Intel would soon kill off the processor.

HP responded by dubbing Oracle’s allegations as malicious and fake and claims that Oracle has violated contractual commitments.

This is the latest development in a series of long-running lawsuits, including legal action against former HP CEO and current Oracle Co-President Mark Hurd.
