Ink manufacturer Van Son have launched an alternative ink line, aimed at customers operating devices from Epson, Mimaki, Mutoh and Roland DG.
The range includes inks for use in Mimaki’s JV3, JV33 and JV5 printers, and pigment and dye inks for the Epson Piezo head printers.
The new line is claimed to help improve wide-format printing performance by offering stronger adhesion on a wide range of substrates, a wide colour gamut and enhanced fade resistance.
Joseph Bendowski, Chief Executive at Van Son, commented to Printweek that the wide-format inks “will increase pressroom efficiencies as well as provide an answer to environmental concerns”.
The range is due to be showcased at Graph Expo 2011, taking place in Chicago from 11 to 14 September.
