Jonathan Brand, a Brooklyn artist, has replicated every part of a 1969 Mustang coupe in paper. The car was created using a digital blueprint of the car and printed on a wide-format inkjet printer, folded over and glued into place.
Brand has previously restored three vintage cars, including a Ford Mustang. Each component, from spark plugs to individual nuts and bolts, has been faithfully recreated, although will be displayed separate to the car.
The vehicle was put on display at the “One Piece at a Time” exhibition at the Hosfelt Gallery in New York City in October.
