Four inkjet printers have been praised for their designs and functionality.
Epson has announced that several of its printers and projectors were recognized by the 2011 Japanese Good Design Awards for their “lifestyle enriching design”.
The PX-5V (Epson Stylus Photo R3000 overseas) inkjet printer especially was praised for its use of high-capacity cartridges, as well as its easy-to-access front loading tray and front operation panel.
The EP-904A (Epson Stylus Photo PX830FWD) inkjet MFP meanwhile was recognized for offering a new concept in the design of home office inkjets, in particular for its document feeder and LED usage.
Finally both the PX-673F (Epson Stylus Office BX925FWD in overseas markets) and PX-603F (Epson Stylus Office BX625FWD) were said to “superbly promote the advantages of inkjet in enterprise” with their design and quick use.
An Epson projector and home cinema projector were also named in this year’s awards.
The OEM commented: “Based on its state-of-the-art technologies, Epson’s aim is to design products that will improve both the lifestyles and work processes of its customers. Going forward, Epson will continue to refine its technologies and designs as it seeks to create and design products that exceed the expectations of its customers.”
