15 members of the office supplies group will take part in a new webstore promotion for Canon products.
Office supplies network The Oii Group has announced a new online project working with Canon and Beta Distribution.
15 member companies will each be provided with a dedicated webstore promoting and selling Canon products, including printers, copiers, MFPs and consumables.
Customers will be able to find the nearest member store that suits their needs, with Beta managing the project and fulfilling orders. Consumers can either order online or visit a store.
Andrew Nagalewski, Managing Director of The Oii Group, explained: “Canon and Beta are investing resources in driving consumers to a website which will then allow the consumer
to enter their post code to find their nearest store where they can buy the full Canon product range.”
He said that both Beta Distribution and Canon are a credit to the industry in the way they are supporting the INDIE channel.
“This is a great opportunity for our group members to increase their revenues online in a market which is very competitive and difficult to establish a presence without support. We have great hopes and expectations for this project.”
Several aftermarket companies have recently joined The Oii Group recently, including remanufacturers Jet Tec, Totalpost and cartridge recycler Reclaim IT.
