Katun introduces Performance Toner for Kyocera machines

Oct 12, 2011

The components supplier has released Performance Toner kits for use in a range of Kyocera laser machines.

The kit is designed for use in Kyocera Mita’s KM 3050, 4050 and 5050 digital copiers and printers, and includes a toner cartridge, waste toner bottles and cleaning clothes for “excellent image reproduction”, as well as an optional RFID chip.

Bob Moore, vice president of product development, stated that the company “now offers a new “with chip” version” that offers consumers a “more complete functional performance, including an operational toner gauge and the ability to communicate with MPS systems”.

Moore added: “In addition, Katun’s cartridge design reduces the chance of toner leakage – a problem that has affected some aftermarket toner kits for these machines. The Katun toner cartridge’s dispensing mechanism also reduces the chance of unwanted toner spillage during the removal process.”

The company added that consumers will gain “OEM-equivalent image density, yields, and fusing performance” from the Performance Toner kit, which has also been tested “to ensure complete forward and reverse compatibility with the OEM toner”.
