The remanufacturer is expanding to benefit more charities.

Californian remanufacturer Planet Green has expanded its successful e-waste recycling scheme across the US border to Canada, according to PRleap.

Alongside collecting ink and toner cartridges for remanufacturing or recycling, the company also takes in other e-waste such as cell phones, MP3 players and other handheld devices.

The company will reward donations either directly to the contributor or to the non-profit organization of their choice, including schools, clubs, and charity fundraisers.

The company stated: “Planet Green has been providing critical fundraising dollars for American non-profits for over a decade and word of their E-Waste Fundraising efforts is now spreading
throughout Canada’s ten provinces and three territories.

“Planet’s Green’s cash donations are in the millions and if there ever was a ‘win-win’ for beleaguered non-profit groups across North America, this would be it. Canadian Clubs and Schools have already
signed up in Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan.”

As The Recycler previously reported, Planet Green recently celebrated the impressive landmark of raising $40 million for charity over the last 11 years, benefiting organizations all over the United
States.
