C has been recognized for its environmental efforts and quality standards after having two certificates renewed by the International Certification Network (IQ Net) and China Quality Certification (CQC) Centre.
The renewed quality management system certificate was awarded for the company’s continued efforts to comply with the ISO90001: 2008 and GB/T 19001-2008 standards, and will remain valid until 2014.
The environmental certification meanwhile recognizes MMC’s compliance with the ISO 140001:2004 and GB/T 24001-2004 standards at its new factory in Jinding Town, Zhuhai City, and is likewise valid until 2014. 
MMC Vice President Mr. Liang explained: “Actually, before being awarded these two certificates, we were quite confident to get them. Since the establishment in 1986, MMC has been pursuing the goal of providing products with best quality in the industry.
“So MMC had already been granted ISO9001 certificates back in 1999. And as a state-owned company, MMC takes greater social responsibility and plays a more vital role in environmental protection. In the new factory, MMC applies the newest technology and equipment to minimize the impact of manufacturing process upon the environment. So these two certificates are rewards for what MMC has been trying to achieve these years. It is also an encouragement for our future better job.”
IQ Net is an international association which includes 37 certification organizations across 33 countries, while the CQC is the largest professional certification bod in China and is state authorized to certify environmentally friendly products.
