Entry into toner production establishes AlphaChem as the only manufacturers of inkjet ink, OPC drums and toner powder.
Korean manufacturer AlphaChem has announced entering toner production as of September 2011, establishing it as the only company to product inkjet ink, OPC drums and toner powder. Kyu Oh Cho, CEO of AlphaChem, commented on expectations of success: “When it gets into the market at its full capacity, it won’t be too difficult to reach the yearly sales of 100 billion Korean Won within two years.”
AlphaChem has also released positive sales details, in a period where most companies are announcing diminished Q3 results. 2010 yearly sales stood at 37.5 billion Won ($33.5 million/€24.5 million) with a net sales profit ratio above 15 percent, and expected yearly sales for 2011 to stand at 45 billion Won ($40 million/€32 billion).
Cho stated: “We will be able to double our yearly sales when the sales of our toner powder,
OLED material, adhesive material, and other products reach its peak sales next year. With the world’s best technological skills, AlphaChem will soon establish its presence as a strong small company.”
