Follows installation of InkCenter device in Utah’s Brigham-Young University.
Retail Ink Solutions (RIS) and the University of Wisconsin have announced the installation of the RIS InkCenter at the University Book Store, which has seen growth in the inkjet refill business and needed a machine to facility the growth.
Digital Journal reports that RIS has been working with The University Book Store to market the new cartridges and helped develop a marketing campaign for the re-launched service.
Mike Stanicek, CMO of RIS, commented: “The University Book Store together with the RIS InkCenter will provide major savings in printer supplies for the Badger community. With The University Book Store’s knowledge and our high quality solution, we expect to continue to add supported cartridges that will fuel growth this coming year.”
Kevin Phelps, Vice President, The University Book Store, added: “We have been in the inkjet cartridge refill business for many years and we were looking for a solution that supports the most recent inkjet cartridges introduced in the market.
“We were also impressed with the InkCenter’s ability to multitask while easily adding new cartridges as they became available in the market. We are excited to partner with RIS and look forward to expanding our business.”
RIS also recently installed InkCenter refill machines at the Brigham-Young University and BYU’s sister university in Idaho.
