Fotospeed unveils new Tubeless Inkflow system

Nov 9, 2011

System available for the Epson R3000 printer, allows refilling of cartridge with supplied kit.

Fotospeed has released a new Tubeless Inkflow system, as reported by Techradar. Utilising the same concept as the Inkflows for the Pro 3800 and 3880 models, the system allows cartridges to be refilled using the supplied refill kit to be returned straight to the printer.

The Tubeless Inkflow eliminates the need for additional tubing or tube damps to stop the in-flow of air, and thusly when a cartridge runs out, all you need do is remove the cartridge, refill and reset the chip before returning it to the printer.

Fotospeed claims that the system can save as much as 85 percent on the cost of ink in comparison to purchasing OEM. Included in each purchase of the Epson R3000 are nine Fotospeed Inkflow cartridges, nine bottles of 125mls Fotospeed 4K Pigment Ink, one transfer kit and a claimed equivalent of £1,080 ($1,726/ €1,264) in Epson ink.

The Fotospeed Tubeless Inkflow for R3000 is available for £249.99 ($399.54/ €292.74).
