Head of Channel Sales pledges to end channel confusion.
Lexmark UK has announced a dedicated product range for its ValuePrint Partners in a bid to alleviate previous confusion between channel partners, reports Channel Pro.
Head of Channel Sales Martin Fairman elaborated on the focus on channel sales follow internal reorganisation within Lexmark UK, who stated that Lexmark desired regaining its partners’ confidence, acknowledging previous occasions when the vendor gave out “mixed messages” to dealers.
“We’ve cleared up a lot of that now. We’ve now sorted out which partners sell what, [and] have the right products for the right partners.”
To this end, Lexmark have introduced a dedicated product range for its Lexmark ValuePrint Partners (LVP). The range consists of 26 models, from low-end monochrome laser printers to departmental colour MFDs, assigned in different categories of partner “to avoid conflict”, stated Fairman.
There are currently 50 members in the LVP, with Fairman targeting 80 through the forthcoming years.
